How much does a website cost?
A complete static website is €950 one-off plus €20/month for hosting and care, cancel any month. Sites with an admin area (manage content yourself) start at €1,900. All prices plus VAT. No hidden costs, no quote ping-pong — and you see your site finished before you pay. No upfront payment.
How long does it take?
Two working days from your complete request to a site you can review at a demo address. You see the result live in your browser and then decide. If we have a lot of requests on, we give you a specific date up front.
Two days — can that be any good?
Yes. The time in classic projects goes into the process, not the building: briefing, quote, review rounds, corrections. That is exactly the process we rebuilt. All our reference sites were made this way.

Yes, if you do it yourself. With us you do nothing: we build, you look, and afterwards we look after the site — content changes included.
Do I need to meet you in person?
No. Everything runs in writing — request, coordination, approval. Our clients are based across Germany and abroad; distance plays no role.
What about data protection?
Your website is hosted in Germany, GDPR-compliant and, in its standard setup, without a cookie banner. Imprint and privacy policy come fully set up, and the contact form only stores what is needed to handle your enquiry.
What if I don’t like the site?
Then you pay nothing. That’s the core promise: we build your site first, you see it finished — and only buy it if you like it. No justification, no negotiation.
How does the domain work?
Your finished site first goes live at its own demo address — that’s where you review it before paying anything. Once you’ve paid, we move it to your domain. If you already have one, you keep it, of course: your provider only needs to change one setting — we tell you word for word which one. If you don’t have one yet, we register your preferred domain for you; common endings like .de or .com are even included.
Who takes care of updates and changes later?
We do — you write to the same person who built your site, no ticket system. The €20/month covers running it completely: hosting, security, backups. And your site is not published and forgotten: we keep developing the technical foundation of all Plattenbrand websites so your site stays readable for Google and AI search next year too. Changes to your content are included as well: new text, a new photo, different opening hours or prices. You send us an email and, as a rule, it is online within two working days — within the usual scope; if it turns out to be considerably more, we tell you beforehand. A new page costs €39, a new feature or a rebuild gets a fixed-price quote up front, and for a complete redesign we give you a 30% discount on the regular price of a new site. Does my website need a cookie banner?
In our standard setup, usually not. We use no consent-requiring cookies and no third-party scripts that require consent, and we count visitors without cookies. Technically necessary details — such as the chosen light or dark mode — are still stored on your device; those need no consent. Whether a banner is needed in your case depends on what runs on your site: if videos, maps or advertising pixels are added later, those usually require consent — then we add a suitable notice. That is our experience from running these sites, not legal advice; if in doubt, check with your lawyer or data protection officer.
Who owns the website?
You do. Texts, images and design are made for your business and stay yours — you may keep the site and carry on using it. We run it for €20/month plus VAT. If you stop having us run it, you get your complete website as files to take with you, and your domain is registered in your name anyway.
What happens to my domain?

Can I cancel?
Yes, any month. Running your site for €20/month plus VAT has no minimum term — an email is enough. The one-off €950 is paid once you say yes and stays paid; the site remains yours. After you cancel we take the site off our server, and you get it as files beforehand.
What does “changes included” mean?
Twice before you decide, continuously afterwards. Before you decide: you see your finished site, email us what should be different, and we do it — two rounds of changes before the decision are included. Only then do you say yes or no. After launch: new text, a different photo, changed opening hours or prices — send us an email and we do it, as a rule within two working days, within the usual scope; if it turns out to be considerably more, we tell you beforehand.
